hello all!

EXAMS ARE OVER!!!!
okay, i noe it's bit late, i should have scream it out at the very min after the last paper. anyway, the excitement then was frail with my mere-3-hour-charged body. the post exam schedule is tiring and, as i'd told my boy today. i dunno these activities are supposed to be torturing or enjoyable. i believe they're what i really want and are definitely fun, but my seriously lack of rest body is really starving.

okay let's see what i've done...
the last paper was in a very cold hall and my fingers were so numb that i couldn't control the tension of my pen when writing. sometimes, i realized that i'm actually carving the table surface through pieces of papers.

after draining so much energy on the writing, my geog gang went to Ikea for the badly-miss meatballs!!! yatte ne! the meatballs are not disappointing and really deserve my deep-hearted salute. you round guys had done well in waiting for me. what else can be more satisfying than my ikea set meal? i guess some would have know what's inside. coffee, cheesecake, chicken wings and meatballs make the ultimate combination! great conversation with mx, sarah, winnie and jason - an interesting guy. not forgetting that my boy's little sweetness that made my day.

despite my high anticipation in heavy duty shopping at ikea, i exit the building empty handed, though with a big stomach stuffed with good food. took a long bus ride to causeway point which i struggled with sleep management throughout the ride... still depending on the tinge of energy left in my 3-hour-charged body, my mama and i shopped till drop in that mall, mainly searching high and low for my trip's necessities and some wu e bo e. shopping ended late and back at home, i tried a million ways to install The Sims 2. gosh, i bought it 2 months ago, and because of the never-ending projects, painful deadlines and subsequently, the big-time exams, my boy had passed it to me today. i was like so excited over it and can't wait to get it installed and play the game. but... it didn't work... currently trouble shooting with the seller...

clicking here and there, i couldn't pull my face off my computer screen. and in the end, i went to bed at about 3am... totally shagged... and i need to wake up the next day at 9am. so, i pulled myself out of my bed and got ready to start another busy day. i went shao mu in the morning and early afternoon... i tried to stay alert and vibrant while i'm with my family and relatives, thinking that i should participate rather then be a sluggard...

on the rides in between the different praying areas, i was thinking that i may meet some serious mishaps in the states and everything that is done and everybody that i met during this very post-exam-b4-my-departure period are very important. all these meetings and activities may be the LAST impression of ME. then i started to think about contacting my friends and ah ma to meet them, maybe for the last time....

okay, got down to an important meeting and there was really quality discussion going on... new tasks were passed down and i have to be really vigilant... i hope my body will be of better condition then...

boy came and we were going to celebrate my 21st birthday. boy was charming and i saw him immediately as the lift door opened, he was waiting at the lift lobby. went around shopping with my eyelid refusing to stay in appropriate positions. but i turned excited when my boy brought me into the restaurant at paragon, which he and i are always interested and curious about. Lawry's is really an interesting restaurant. i enjoyed the ambiance, the service (including the waitresses and waiters, managers, chef), the adorned ladies diner esp. those in their evening gown, and of course, the marvelous food. The spinning salad, cream spinach, one tail lobster, Steam Baked Boneless Chicken Breast, Pastry Beef Tenderloin, and even their butter bread, all tasted great~ the service was great, within our dinner there, there were 2 birthday celebrations and the waiters and waitresses got together and marched out together singing the happy birthday songs joyously. and interestingly adding 'and all~~~' at the ending of the last line...

the day ended at the escape from 2 prudential financial planners. they caught us while we were walking past their road show and were eating water melons. these guys should just leave us alone, they had cruelly taken up our time for some serious late night shopping. they babbled on and on until my boy cut in and told them that we're not signing anything straight in their faces. hahaha, really waste my time lehz. don't they now how precious is my time ?

so now, i'm about half dead with so many things still left unsettle at home. i think i should just go to sleep, and wake up...soon after...

Hi all.

it's sad to see the papers writing about the campus massacre which happened on Monday. The gunman's identity has been confirmed, and he's a Korean origin, American PR.

it's gross that he killed33 undergraduates and lecturers in school, with a calm and serious face.
how can he be such a cold and unfeeling person doing these ultimately murdering?
how, in the world, does he think that he is rightful enough to take away people's dreams, people's joy, people's lives?

Think about the victims' family members.... they must be crying their hearts out right now... all because of that crazy fellow's unreasonable destroying that leaves so many things dear unaccomplished, fallen and broken.

why does he have a gun with him in campus/dormitory?
is it so easy for a 23 year old to own a gun and run around with it in his pocket?
is there anything that can be done to prevent such tragedy from repeating?
back to the basic, why does killing have to take place?
is this world that we're living in so ugly that one has to go to such extent to exterminate something so badly?

may these victims live well in their respective afterlives. and hopefully, my late hammies - da ham, xiao bai and xiao ham- can offer some consolations to them in that very world.

hey there~
yeah, you're looking at the new blog skin right now~ isn't it nice? hahaha the previous newspaper skin was... changed on impulse. and then i realized that there were many grammatical errors on the wordings n stuff. so i went hunting for some real cool skins on blogskins.com for quite some time before came across this great piece this afternoon~ editing skin really takes up some time. and with my 0 knowledge on HTML, i can only go on by trial n error. enjoy it.

hello people~!it's the sixth day of the lunar new year... and the CNY atmosphere is fading and almost gone~ good grief... why do i have to lock my eyes and fingers to the computer when i should be celebrating my festival and indulging in those goodies of CNY?~!?!?! life isn't fair.... especially to current uni students...

so ya, i'm having tons of work to do and write. and i'm still struggling to complete my self-set task and breaking them cold hard by simply telling myself everynight: 'I WILL definitely do it tomorrow!' and zzZzz off to sleep...

okay, so i went back to school for a meet-up with a tutor and preparing to get stab, and indeed i got step, thanks to my 'osamu tezuka' suggestion. it's so depressing after meeting this tutor every time. am i so ugly to such an extent that i can attract people to come stab me? ahh.... Aniway, talked about the recent SEP application going on in school, and there's Korea University up for grabs~!!! and then i came to realise that Year 3 1st sem would be my last chance to fly out to study~ oh gosh~ then i realize that if i'm really planning to go during Y3 Sem1, then it's going to be damn rush cuz i barely have time to rest in homeland before i leave for another country. and then. after i'd set my mind calm from the thoughts n excitement from meeting cute guys on the SEP trip, i think that it's quite impossible to do WAT and then SEP... it'll be damn sick, leaving my home, my family, my hammies, my pretty boy for big time 9 months. gosh.

hi everyone~
today's is the eve of Chinese New Year. and yea, it's the biggest festival in our Chinese tradition~! and we're priding it quite well huh? think of it this way, we, the chinese homosapien, had celebration this festival in 'roughly' the same ways many many years way back then. and now, it's celebrated not only in our Mother China. it's all over the world~ wahahahaha~

so i woke up late today n read the papers. interesting article on pigs caught my attention and i read this:

ahhaha i was like laughing inside cuz it's sooo true~!!! hahaha~ okay so this phrase is gonna stay inside my head for quite some time.

i've been spending lotsa time with my boy since v-day... and i feel that this is year is really different from the past years that we'd date... the change, i mean a positive one, should most probably be due to D-day. aniway. i was invited to his reunion dinner last night and it was like a bit pai seh cuz it's a reunion dinner and his papa was there... hahaha but eventually things turned out quite well. the steamboat was really yummy compared to mine, and the atmosphere wasn't that bad cuz his father is quite a nice friendly man. his brothers were cute too and i think his little bro is still like a little child clothed in secondary sch uniform. and also yesterday was the first time that i rode in the new blue toyota driven by my boy. bit shaky though, he can still get the car moving. hahaha okay, he's not that bad lar.

few day back, watched Ghost Rider, and i can truly understand why boys and girls differ in their tastes for movies. oh, and bout v-day, it was a damn simple fare which i love max max max~! i just hate the conventional ritual - roses, couple tee, candlelight dinner or somewhere that's romantic, soft toys etc. we had dinner at Suntec food court and the place was like spookily empty. it was such a different feel with no 'si gin na' screaming and other pple's chat-chanting. and i had a fairly delicious katsu curry rice~ thereafter, i picked up some real gold while shopping, and that's really lucky of us cuz that shop was just about to close when we stepped in~ hahaha

today, JS lecture screened this movie called 電車男 or Train Man. our group members were sitting together at the last row of seats because we're going to have mini feast while watching the movie~! hahaha and i was pretty sad cuz my contribution wasn't as delicious as i thought. nah~ aniway, my group mates are lovely and we had a great time sharing food.

okay, this movie, in my opinion, is above average and is definitely funny. apart from the 'geekiness' fun, the show is also very sweet and heartwarming at times.... and i must admit that those scenes remind me some of the sweet moments by my boy. hehe

aniway, the remaining of the week is gonna be tough... with mountains of readings and endless projects, life seems like a 'long and winding road'~ ahahaha nonetheless, i will fight on and live on for another 'SATURDAY' (nah, it isn't that saturday on the calendar... hahaha)!!!

by good chance, i'm now in a very happening and happy project group. this project is an assignment for a Japanese studies module, and we're the first group to facilitate the class for tutorial. the actual facilitation happened on yesterday. but before that, we had an unearthly great deal of preparation, brain-storming, discussions, and consultations done. and i'm really happy, though realli tired, along these processes. cause the group clicks and there's a big funny bone inside! laugh and laugh till your cheek muscles continue to wiggle after you'd stopped. wahahahahaha. and of course, apart from that funny bone, we have another *interesting entity* that keeps our laughter going. anyway, i'm glad n lucky that i'm in such a group.

finally advice to uni-incomers: group members are very important; thus do put in effort in searching for them.

Rain's Coming concert 21/01/2007

hi there~!
well well, here i am extremely IMPRESSED and AWED by 06/07 Rain's Coming concert. it's amazing and i can tell you one fact and that is the concert quality is equivalent or even supersedes the ticket price.

the stage, the music, the visual effects, the pyrotechnics, the props, the musicians, the dancers, the stage crew, the dance moves, the stage costumes, the lights, the songs, the sound effects, the fog, the vocals, the screams, the light sticks, the coolness, the cuteness, the heart touch, the kindness, the craze, the mic and mic stand, the audience, the bed, the perfectness,
the one and only Jung Ji Hoon
(the eyes, the smile, the abs, the butt, the arms, the leg...)

the opening had shout-out-loud immediately that this concert is going to be extremely special and high-quality. True enough, the special effects and performance never disappoint the audience as testified by the high climax and cheering throughout. The opening of the concert kicked off with the screens showing a submarine arriving at some deep water, followed by the life-size submarine appeared physically on stage. After some musically-created-anticipation-atmosphere (ya noe what i mean yea?) many blasts and wonderful effects went off at an instant when the sub broke open, and the mighty star stood charmingly right in the middle of the stage. screams ~!!!!

i was so overwhelmed by the starting of the concert which led to the happening of something silly hehe. Carrying on from there, i went screaming and singing the songs at 9XXX decibels (i guess that's the only occasion where i can sing out loud in Korean w/o caring about the pronunciation and whether ani one is listening to me). it's was a very high international party with the Asian countries coming together - Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Japan.the rest of the show was all too marvelous and it isn't fair for me to write about it here in words because they are never gonna be as close to the real time experience in that fabulous concert. Just remember one thing: Rain's Coming is real~l~l~y good. this is the kind of concert that people die-die must go. dvds, youtube, tv whatever, nothing compares to the actual participation.

Frankly, my seat wasn't very very far from the stage as i'd expected. and with the help of my cute little Tasco binocular, i can enjoy the whole set of entertainment to the maximum.

hey people!!!

8th January, that's tml!!! and today is the last day of my holidays!!! arrrggghhh!!!

okay, so i'm starting school tml and I'm not mentally prepared for it yet. bidding was, kinda, successful even though i got over-worried about it. cheers to the CORS team, u guys are doing a great job and are slowly erasing my first sem's bidding memories.

so i'm going to pack my school bag later.... it's sad that i can't find a suitable backpack during this entire holdiay and that leads me to the continual suffering under the straps~! aniway, there's nothing to pack though - throwing in my folder with some lousy foolscap papers, my slim pencil case, the very much overdued library book which the library-swat-team has been haunting me to vomit out, some necessary stuff, and of course a music player. who can tolerate the boring trip to school. it's the same old scene that i'm going to watch for the remaining 1 and a half years in the ever 'sian' mood.

okay... so a review on my holidays... i have been watching so many movies in terms of youtube and dvds. and the arrival of the tv was a boost but the Taiwan earthquake shook my youtube so hard that it's not working for me up till now~~! aniway... the movies are great and most of the time after i finish a movie, i will go like: phew luckily i catch this one, this is great~!!! yea, they may not be some top films but are good enuff for moi~ and i mean movies like The pink panther, Fearless, Pirates of the Caribbean, Zathura, Mr and Mrs Smith, Daisy etc......

i just found an LG phone which i ultimately crave for right now. it's a simple looking one that has so cool functions~!! well, but the most important thing is that it is an LG phone. mua hahahah haha hope it's in town right now for me to grab it.

oh, i needa talk something about my new timetable. after seeing timetables with japanese language classes for about a year, i'm not really getting used to this current one. it seems so bare and 'white' to me~ hahah very much shorter school hours and almost no free timeslot in between classes. would it be more fun this sem? would it be easier this sem? one thing i'm sure about is spending less time in that freezing lib acting to be studying. and my bro is not going to be in sch this sem.... arts canteen is shut... meaning more Mac?? ahahaha aye, here i go to embark on this slightly different semester!

we're having 2 new family members in our Zhang family!!! let's welcome Cyrus and Cyrene!!! 2 lovely syrian hamsters which my bro brought home. they're soooo cute and furry! they're only 3 weeks old and their faces look so 'yu ki' (direct translation from hokkien: young teeth). they're very VERY energetic. it's a hard time catching them, and after catching them in my hands, they will just 'pop' and jump anywhere~ they are here for about 3 days and they're doing quite well in adapting to their new lovely home. i have been talking and 'sa-yanging' them a lot so that they can get use to my beautiful voice and the human touch quicly. sleeping most of the time, running on the wheel (they're so strong and can run continuously for quite some time!) and fighting and screaming at each other. so cute! especially when they yawn!

i know this is kinda late~ hahah but i have been busy with lotsa stuff... this year's christmas, i spent it with my mum at Vivocity. that was my first trip there and the place is wonderful~ with an interesting and refreshing concept, it has successfully created an impressive shopping experience for Singaporeans. i love the balconies. especially when night falls, the whole place was so dark and cool~ apart from the potential danger spots such as the shallow pools beside the wooden walkways, the place is very spacious and and -calm-. aiya, i just find the right word to describe, go and feel urself. the view ain't breath-taking. i can see ferries, cable cars, sentosa, merlion and the port. other than that, it was just narrow strait. but it's nice to have another view which u can hardly catch elsewhere.

shopping there was oka-y. with those high-end boutiques, the range of shopping was sized down, but still, u can find some cool stuff in the mall~ i find the malaysian fashion shop, 'nichii', quite nice. clothes are relatively cheaper without ani compromise in fashion trend. cool cool, thumbs up!

Vivocity is big!!! a storey of shopping can take up some time~~ haha the first floor is full of high end fashion boutiques . 2nd storey onwards is better.

i'm here to write about my Christmas celebration with my love.... blog is such a good thing cuz it memorizes everything with pictures and words. We can't remember everything that's happening in life, and so with the blog helping us to remember some of the events, memories can resurface and you will go arrrr~ that time ah~ ya! ya ~ ya~ :)

okay~ it was simple stuff on that day, but it was great simply because i'm with my boy. we had our lunch cum dinner at soup restaurant. we know that a meal at that restaurant can fill us up to the brim of our throat . oh, i can't praise myself more because the time we chose to eat there was so quiet and calm~-~wooo~ the food was great, the place was great. Food, as usual, was not disappointing and the mee suah was yummi mum mum. just a pity that the soup of the day wasn't lotus peanut soup.

Then we went for shopping to aid digestion. it was getting to the dinner time and the crowd was rushing in. what's more it was a Saturday. Walking though suntec wasn't easy. you need good walking tactics and strategies (just like driving) and also a good man to hold your hands to bring you out of the crushing crowd.

After that, we went to esplanade for our dessert. it was fondue that we were looking forward to. and guess what? the waitress said that the last set of fondue was just sent out~!!! oh man~ i was like -_-||| kaoz~! luckily, after some 'communication' with the manager via the waitress, we got our set of fondue~!!!! yeah! ahahaha aiya, i dun noe -how- but i just care about it appearing on my table~ .... maybe my expectation was too high for e fondue, it wasn't as good as i thought it would be. and it's also expensive for two person sharing a pot.

Anyway, i love that day of celebration and also the wonderful person sitting opposite to me. There were special surprises which i can never forget.

The Grudge 2 and selling of TB

hello~! i just watch The Grudge 2 on youtube and it was definitely a daring try of me. ghost movies have very very very persistent after effect. but i think i should try this show cuz edison is in it~ hehehe and also, i was curious to know how scary can this ju-on sequel be. And so, to prevent any possibility of serious consequences, i watched the show half-heartedly by opening another window by its side and do something else. haha one of the scary part which i's watched full-heartedly is the pic at the left. pretty scary... but, you noe, when the video screen is so small and volume down to almost 0 decibel... hehehehe it's still okay lar~

okay okay. now i'm going to sell 2 textbooks here. they were for my science module "Great Ideas in Contemporary Physics" in the past semester. both books are in very good condition and only one book has minimal highlight and underline. 2 books for $15. leave a note at the tagboard if u're interested. oh btw, the titles are "Cosmology - A Very Short Introduction" and "Introducing Quantum Theory". hi there~ it's been busy... and i have been neglecting this little spot....

Phenomenon. Christmas is coming and i can feel the festive season atmosphere especially strong this year. many shops are filled with people grabbing and wrapping stuff. Chocolate stores are having really long queues and toys stores are blasted with kids' shouting. and all around the place, u can see people carrying big bags with nicely wrapped stocks. i guess the economy is pretty good for 2006, Singaporeans seem to be buying more ferociously this time round. including me~! haha it's a 羊群效应 la~ hahahaha

here's mum outside the operating theater. everybody else were too sian of sitting except mama.

while bro was in the ward, there were so many interesting things happening in the hospital. Some idiotic old man trying to act cute and was coaxed by doctor and nurses. he was making so much noise and he thought he was some big shot. buay zi dong. And then I saw this old man lying on his bed with many tubings and devices around him... he seemed so fragile and sick... if i were his family member, i will be by his bedside for every second.

and there were some irritating patients who were simply too staying in the hosp for too long and were very bored. Some kept paging the nurses, and some were singing. the rest were just watching time flies.... .... ... .

next up, i was doing quite a lot of shopping. School is starting soon and i'm in dire need to revamp my wardrobe. and because the main aim was to prepare my attire for school, most of the 战利品 are jeans and t-shirts. how typical.

went to down to pay for my WAT program again. this time, my partner and i had time to sit down and talk bout the exciting trip. hehe

was also on a buying spree for presents. here and there, i feel so happy when i am able to get things for my friends and make them happy.

music, talking about music. i must introduce u guys this amazing person - Sung Si Kyung 성시경. i have been listening to his music for quite a while and he's good in not disappointing me along the journey. this guy has a smooth vocal and his ballads are unbeatable. jo sung mo is also good, but to me, he's the best of the best of the best~ Ballad is ah kyung's ace card but his tries in other genre are great as well. and in his latest album "Vol. 5 The Ballads", the main song 'On The Street' is sooo good~ a bit different from the typical ballads he had done, but the charm is still there and never fading!

okay... it's a long entry... i had my christmas celebration with my boy today. big smile, big love. will blog about this wonderful day later...

these few days were pretty busy for me.... but i'm quite happy today cuz there's 'So You Think You Can Dance?' tonight ~!!!

i had been watching this show for a few times, and it's really getting real time dancing into me, well, or generally into the public mind. Dancing, nowadays, are featured to be cool, hip and in the trend. i guess what's leading up to that image and trend should be hip-hop, break dance and those korean poppin' and urban dance grooves~~ but definitely, it's bringing more exposure to more down-to-root dances such as the ballroom dance.

anyway, this show is indeed bringing much much more to the audience, because, not only it is showing a wide range of different dance types, it is bringing us different variations within each dance genre~ how great~! so dun trap urself in ur small and dull box of dance concept (if u're in it right now). watch this show and you can know how contemporary dance can varies and how ballroom dances can spark ur life~

hello everybody~

these few days, my desktop is down and my papa is operating on it... most of the time, my room was invaded, and like this morning, my dad marched in at about 10.30am~ oh gosh, that was about the middle part of my sleep~ .... luckily i have this blackie with me...

it's been raining heavily recently. the thunder and lightning were very intense. and the rain usually starts from afternoon or late afternoon, which is the time when i am all alone at home. those flashes and roars are so scary... i think there is a general trend of the thunder getting louder and the lightning getting brighter. what might had caused that? global warming?

was at suntec last night and the christmas lightings are up and there are beautiful... and the most beautiful thing was that i met my cousin on the city hall platform~ wahahaha we were chatting on msn just the day before to meet out some day and we were seeing each other the next day~! hahahah it feels so good seeing my dear cousin.... :) :) :) it just made my day nicer.

these days, i was still thinking of whether to continue with japanese language 3. Continuation of korean drama, korean songs, korean idols and korea culture is so much appealing to me right now, and this had made me not even building the interest for anithing japanese. otteke? hai~ so sian. anibody has great japanese songs or drama to introduce to me?

went to lot 1 just now and was surprised by the price of a bag which i wanted to buy. it's 22.90 bucks for a small small bag. it's immoral business out there for my hammies' sake~ and so, i set myself a challenge: i will find a similar one at a much lower price. yes.

these days, i keep thinking about the culture shock which Isabel told be about on Saturday. hahaha the world is so amazing. my mama always say this: 一种米养白种人. indeed, it's really amazing.

watched 红星大奖 2006 just now and it's quite depressing... some snippets are a repeat, some serious errors and it's went on for quite a while, presenters are pretty casual and not very 'entertaining'. i wonder when.... when.... soon, i hope, soon it'll become better.

some stuff which are meant to be kept silent about like the studio workers' signals to the people on stage, they are meant to signals, SIGNALS. and those receiving these signals are reading them out loud to the audience. i dun get it~ is that something for them to fill in the empty spaces in their speech or adding some specific value to the stuff there're talking about? aniway, i dunno why is it so and everyone going on the stage follow suit.

And also some stunning words used by gurmit singh. "kana sai" is not really an appropriate and presentable phrase to be use on national tv or even anywhere publicly. i dunno, again, whether is that adding to the entertainment value of his thank you speech or is that just an unconscious spit of his unhappiness.... but in whatever means, i think it's quite inappropriate. do u guys noe how to distinguish whether words,such as kana sai, are going to be presentable or not? the first thing to look out for, after the phrase is being said, is the expressions on the listeners or audience. if there's a dubious or uncertain or stun look on their faces instantaneously, it means it's not a nice thing. no matter how they try to laugh or smile after a while, it's definitely not a nice thing. cuz if that's funni or so, the immediate effect will be transmitted and felt immediately.

some interesting bao liao in the show: the new couple michelle chia and shaun chen. hahah am i the last to noe or this ain't something new??? hahaha but it's pretty sweet seeing michelle thanking her sweetheart by calling his pet name. something like "pi pi" and some charming stars like lee nanxing is really cool. he's not bad looking~ hahaha~ and i find zoe tay's hair very cute~

i wonder when.... when.... soon, i hope, soon it'll become better. it's sad to see the bad points alone although they're shouting out loud to me. i will support Singapore tv. hope that there'll be more improvements. and above views are solely my personal opinions, though they contain some truth. hehe

hmmm it's another typical korean drama, with a couple loving each other but their love is forbidden. and then they'll go through all the objections and finally, either one will die, or they go happily together, or both will die.

goong, i'm currently re-watching that on dvd since my last view on youtube in April or so earlier this year

woo it's been quite lag in my blog entries... oppz... hang in there...
yea, amazingly, i had been sleeping alot~ really alot~ i wonder how can my body take in that much of excess sleep. in return, i got an irritating headache. it's like a cycle, i got headache and so i went to sleep; awake with the pain still pestering me, i got back to sleep again. yea, that's it...

today is a beautiful day, i was up at an amazing hour of 7.30AM. wahahaha even seeing my papa off to work and playing with my hammies who are having their last tinge of energy left before they head on to their daytime sleep till the evening.

i had my first ever kbox session on Monday after a very long wait. hahah i think i haven't been going karaoke since the start of the last sem~ wooo~ it was great seeing my good old pals~ we grew together, dun we? ahhhh it's nice and sweet to see all of them well and fine.... and i'm really sorry that i'd to leave early. muack!

ooo, during the session in cine kbox, i met this really rude and not service-industry-ethic-educated worker who, received my tidbits bowls w/o stopping her footsteps and not letting me finish my sentence. i just hope kbox company would see this can do something, oh mighty please.

then, this morning, i went to mac for lunch and this service crew was also, not paying attention to my "can i have 4 packets of ketchup, please". and i have to repeat like thrice cuz she was repeated distracted by the callings whatever to and from the kitchen.

watch your back babies, i'm in a damn tough service industry before and i noe my stuff even though i'm just a teeny staff. maybe that's what my harsh working env had brought me to such scrutiny, but whatsoever, get rid of that real time attitude b4 something happens

these days, i have a guesstimate that i'm going to end my Japanese language education soon. real soon... kept having the thought that the module is getting damn difficult, and immoral. racking nerve racking to imagine the unspeakable grade appearing on my report card that's gonna be due on, i dunno, christmas time? hai~ aniway, it's like having so much tutorial and lecture hours and effort (imagine memorizing so much vocabs and kanjis which are snowballing sem after sem), i guess the pursue is/may be reaching my limit.... aniway, my interest is in Korean though, i just dun feel gan wan (or gan yuan) that i had to forsake the language which i took pain to learn for a year...

即使这是我喝了好多年的汤，今天喝着时，突然有一个有趣的想法出现在脑里。

我爱吃花生与莲藕，所以这道汤，我哪会错过呢。

由于花生较小，汤一到，我就往汤底栽，把花生都挑出来。

不久后，花生就被我啃完了。但重点是，这寻找花生的过程，我觉得，好有趣啊！

说来一点都不容易。。。

必须翻过重重的莲藕片，再穿过一座座的猪肉块，有时还会碰到怪异的干墨鱼，最后才能找到‘褐’溜溜的花生。。。

这简直就是‘寻宝探险记’嘛！

hi hi people~

yesterday was really a great day~~~
before that, i was bombarded with work and saturday was realli a pop day out of the blues.

early in the morning, i mean 8am, my fren and i went to orchard hotel for the WAT-US interview... well, i guess most pple reading my blog may not noe what's that... it's a prog for tertiary students from all over the world (hmm, not too sure but many countries) to get over to the states to work and travel during their winter/summer holidays. and TA-DA ~ i'm one part of the joyous international crew for a-me-ri-ca!!!!

so that interview was carried out by e employees from the states, coming over here to check up the participants. so scary initialli, cuz the previous group went in there for more 1hr, we thought that the employers were so strict and scrutinize the participants. well, then we realized that there's nothing much to worry after we went in, cuz they're friendly and nice n handsome people, no tedious questioning and stuff, just a easy and comfortable ambience to chat among each other~

and ya, now, i'm already a 'contract-ed' Morey's Piers employee!!! and i'm heading to the states for sure!!! yippie yap yap! excited excited. oh, i saw a few familiar faces during the interview, qiu qun looks great~

after that, head to a daw rui's housewarming. oh gosh... things were okay, calm and not too exciting at first. but later, i was called into the game of '99' and 'indian poker' and gulped down 2 shots of cointreau. oh gosh, the drink was -- shiok, i would rather call it than tortuous, but it's for sure toxicated. the warm sensation was warm, hahaha and for quite a split second. right after that, everything's okay, no dizziness or watever so. but an hour later, the effect was realli a tsunami. i couldn't control my muscles, even my lips felt a bit numb.... and that's 2 shots' effect. oh no... that was my 2nd drunk experience. puke twice... the first time consisting lots of mushrooms from my dinner and also my long john lunch meal. 2nd time, just outside my flat's lift. that's liquid consisting the jasmine tea, warm water, ice and the liquor. gosh, vomitting is real bad... painful.... and hungry...
there won't be a 3rd time. i'd learnt that i'm quite a lousy drinker...

hmm... how should i start this... i feel bad today... since this very morning till the very last min of lesson. especially smitten at the end when i was doing my geography tutorial in a freaky biological lab.

yesterday was a big lecture day for moi... i got my first lecture at 8am in the morning, a geog lec by dr grundy-warr. interesting guy who's very skilful in keeping students awake in class. humourous opening... hehe then i had my first japanese lecture. woo hoo we're the guinea pigs to this lecturer who had just added 'Dr.' in front of his name. wasn't very clear and systematic in this teaching... made me and my frfren having a real hard time catching up... i guess i'm also pretty shut down there... i dun even noe how to write some katakana and hiragana alphabets~ oh no!

last lecture.... amazing victor savage who's like having a loving affair with books. he's soooo knowledgeable... i bet i can't even reached 1% of the number of books he had read....

today's the second day in school. and school is realli fun~!!! the brand new beginning of another academic year with a totally different feel and outlook~

hahaha firstly, i've been to soooo mani places in nus which id never been in the past 1 year. they include Lee Kuan Yew school of public policy, institute of southeast asia studies, eusoff hall, the brand new student service centre and the faculty of science including science LT,,science canteen, science library....

i've even hopped on buses that're sooo new to me - HMK 1 and bus 95.

i was spending the whole day in science fac today and it's such a cool and vibing experience. haha i get to see the aspiring scientists and, ,best of all, aspiring doctors~hahaha~ med sch is just beside FoS~ well, thanks to my sotong-ness, i was very late for my very very first lecture@sci. the LT is so diff from arts', which practicalli shocked me for a while when i first walked in. the long tables are built on each row~ hahha *interesting* i think sim is having those type of tables too.

food at science is lousy. appearance is lousy, taste is lousy and eventually making eaters feeling lousy. i support arts food. arts canteen is voted the best eatery in the entire campus (well, i can say some stalls are best in s'pore :P) The Deck roxXx!

science library is pathetic... but havin the essential services are, well, pushing it to a pass. i photocopied an ?n?i?e book today. wooo-hooo~ it's cool to save the bucks this way...if u hav the time lar. and the courage to break the copyright laws. hahaha

everywhere in school is bustling~ bazaars are everywhere. peepz out there, come into the school if u wanna do some cheapo and chicky shopping. turn in right here. we have ice cream (well, those high classy high bucks types of iscream), slippers, t-shirts, denim mini skirts, adidas jackets, creative gadgets, banks (hsbc, dbs etc.), earrings, necklaces, ink cartridges, old books (fic and non-fic), muah chee, ornaments, magazine subsriptions and lots lotsa more~ and most importantly, whenever there's bazaar, there's .............. (drumroll pleaze...) ........... there's MILO TRUCK~!!!! and of course, i caught the sight of it and glup cups down.. muahahah

yesterday was a fun-filled day. the onli spoilers were my irritatin nose and the never ending jam.

yesterday was my boi and his mum's birthday. yea, they're both born on the same day and mth, and obviously different years. i was busy at home in the morningbathing my hamster and cleaning their house. and i guess that's how i got the sneezes...

afternoon, weakened badly by the sneezings and my painful eye due to the peeling skin of my eyelid. the doc's med is still too strong for me... hmmm carried the large prezzies out and it's so paiseh. i looked like a santa claus...?

this is the present for my boi, and this big frame holds a very high level IQ challenge. hehehe unsolvable.
his mama is treating the family and his godmama and godmama's daugh at 御宝南北小馆. the place was nice and poshy looking... food was nice too but some are ~ and we missed the famous yuan yang there.... i love the fried eel strips the most~!!!

then, ride on to head to the esplanade for the fireworks. but the jam was already there at orchard road when we drove out. inch and brake, inch and brake and we finalli got to...................... a halt. that's bout 9.0?pm when we started hearing the booms of the fireworks. and the jam was there terribly. wo could see nothing except hearing the booms accompanied with the melodious honking.
so the whole jam's bout 2 hours....

was tired after the whole day.

i woke up at 5am this morning. the sky was still so dark and the air was cold. ate a big bowl of shin ramen and headed back to bed... it's bad to sleep right after a heavy meal... i noe, adayo...

rounded up my cors period and i'd successfully gotten the 5 modules i want. and luckily this time, my all-time girl and lunchmate, mich, is joining me for the science module. with her around, at least i won't get lost and become desperate in the science faculty~ and what's more, i needa rush back to arts for a tutorial immediately after the science lec~

tml is my boi's birthday. and i have prepare a very memorable and nice present. That big thing is a handicraft/artwork. and it was realli bothering me when i realized that there's something wrong with the material... and i need many heavy 'industrial tools' to fix and turn the material into what i thought i would be in my perception... lucky enuff, i found all the stuff i need and everything is swift and nifty, and i can produce the masterpiece in the early morning.

these few days are bidding days and it's much less intense cuz all my 3 geog modules are already allocated to me and i need not bid for'em. Japanese language level 2 was bit competitive - 41 snatching for the 36 spaces. and bids went up to 600points. how come there's such low number of vacancies available? is nus trying to cut sincere students from continuing learning the japanese language? what if all the 41 students are all keen in continuing and not just for plain filling up modules requirements??? well, nvm, 36 students are split up into 2 lecture groups -- 17 and 19 each. using such a big lt for so few students... so qi cham....

i'm bidding for a outside faculty module nex monday. the module name is Great Ideas of Contemporary Physics. woooo, science is not in my dictionary for almost half a decade... this is a bo bian choice lar... so sian, and i guess i'm taking that alone....

yesterday, was bit freaked out by the cors system. it's the time for bidding again and i'd forgot how to do it totalli. thank u, mx for the advice. how can i forget such simple steps in cors... hai~ i'm getting old... blame it on time.

hi hi people~

woke up pretty late today... had yummy nuggets for lunch. after that, went downstairs to collect my belt that was bought online. okay, pretty smooth. i took out one of my super loose jeans just to see how the belt looks on a pants. well, sadly, this jeans fits me nicely. kaoz~ how sucky~ i had grown fatter~ shit

5pm, rushed outta house to find my mama to join her for dinner. hai, bit bad timing... got there and she had only 1/2 hr left for me. and i dragged her into watson and bought some vital stuff hehe

me alone, ate kfc O.R. chicken shop. it sucks~ the chop is so small. i should hav order a 2pc meal since both of them are of the same price. and there's one stupid and smelly indian man eating beside me kept looking at me.

got lotsa time... so went to yishun community library by hopping on bus 804 (thanks mh!). well, the place was not as bad as i thought. at least it's hushy. and thank god that i'd brought along my japanese lang 密集 which i revised with that for bout 3 hours.

hehe and while i was on bus 804 earlier on, i opened up my eyes (* ^*) and try to remember the route the bus took. and now, i'm going to walk back to north point~! i luv walking~!!! hahaha quite a distance to walk, but it's so fun waling alone~ but muz be careful lar~ dun use ur handphone while walking on dark and empty streets. *valuable lesson learnt from sarah.

heheh, then comes my supper at yakun again. and guess what? i'm got the same number se7en block~~! took another pic~

ahhh suxky~ the vcdc that i sold online is now missing~!!!! i sent it out last sunday and till now, the buyer haven receiveed it~ and worse still, i didn't write the return add at the back of the envelope~ so if it's realli a wrong address written at the front, mr postman cannot send it back to the sender *~blank blank~* ahhhz~!!! and this means that i'll either hav a bad rating or i'll have to refund the buyer~ that leads me to another thinking: maybe that buyer is just faking everything??? and if i return him the money and he had already received it??? ahhhhz but that's no way i can rebut cuz i didn't write 'I am not responsible for any missing article or undeliverable address.' at my bidding page~ argh~!!!

another thing, quite stupid. i bidded for a belt at 8.50 whereas the starting price is 8.00, increment is 10c. i should just bid 8.10. stupid.

bIRTHDAY REPORT pART iii

well, was pretty late on this.

thurday was much of a fun and painful day for me. in the earlymorn, went back to the doc cuz of some prob with the medications that super dehydrate my skin and making them look and feel like scalded. it's damn painful and i can't take it but to ask for an explanation or a change in the regime of medications. darn it, i got a special appt tonight yet my skin loks sucky. no choice ne... got the new stuff and back home to rest as much as i can... damn painful

the night was fun. meeting my good old pals. secondary sch pals. it's been min 4 yrs now. and some is up to 9/10yrs. well~ friendship is so amazing~!! the sushi buffet at fuunana was very fulfilling. though the teppanyaki was an disappointment. the present was fabulous. definitely to my liking~ max max max! thanks peng you.

well, chatzzzzz and when we exit, all the shops were already closed. the train ride was fun too~ hahah i guess with jq arounnd, things can turn playful~

Divided into four segments, A Moment to Remember follows the theme of discovery in a relationship and the burdens of loss caused by Alzheimer's disease.

The first segment of the film, staged in romantic comedy style, introduces the protagonists, a woman named Su Jin and a man named Chul Soo. The movie highlights their accidental meeting in a convenience store and confusion over a can of soda, followed by their subsequent courting despite the social standings that should have kept them apart.

The second segment follows the couple now settling into married life. Su-Jin learns to be a housewife as her husband cares for her. But as the segment progresses, Su-jin begins to display forgetfulness, including an incident in which a fire breaks out because of a forgotten stove. While Chul Soo caught the fire in time, the seriousness of the incident and others draw them to seek medical help.

The third segment involves the revelation of Alzheimer's disease and the couple's consequent response to it. Su Jin is heavily burdened by the knowledge that she will forget her husband and hides it from him at first until he seeks advice from the doctor himself. Despite the disease, they make the commitment to stay together and as the disease progresses, the trials the couple go through increase because of Su Jin's forgetfulness.

The fourth segment reveals Su-jin in the final stages of the disease and the grief Chul Soo experiences because of it. Yet he remains beside her, despite her lost memory, hiding his eyes behind sunglasses when he visits her so she can't see his tears.

Watched this korean movie last night and it was terrible. i mean it hurts terribly. the entire movie was quoted to be 'near to a masterpiece'. and i definitely can't agrree more to it. read the summary above and u'll get a rough idea of the storyline. but when u watch it, it's totalli a different experience. strong advice here, get load of tissue with u. i can't believe that no one will tear after watching this great number. i nearly dropped my eyeballs out last night.

Birthday Eve
after the last day of work (wed), i'm having a free day b4 my birthday... bit sianz at home, thinking that the holi's gonna end soon, think i better get out to do stuff b4 i regret...
so pulled mama out with me to outram, one of my fav destinations in singapore. it's a place with good food and nice shopping. it's totally different from the small-large malls which we had already shop in until sian already.

this is me and my mama at the yummy place... we always get there to do our dining b4 the 'dinner' rush ... this time menu includes fried oyster with egg, glutinous rice balls and yummy chinese salad (aka rojack lar)~!!!

Back with a full tummy and empty wallet. getting to sleep early cuz tml's big day and i gotta wake up early to welcome some big shot. wahahaha

Birthday
Hatachi - 20 years old. the official adult age for the Japanese or in Japan. most countries are having 21 years old.. well, that means that 20yrs old is also a big time to call for birthday celebration.
well, so this is the big shot coming to my house early in the morning.

and he delivered the large present to me...

her mama's present for me was really jing bao. realli thank her for the effort and thought. thanks boi and mama.
after staying at my house for a few hours (well, my mama and brother are at home and they are all awake), we went out for the 1st part of makan.

Tonkichi at Taka. really nice katsu curry set. especially the minced meat cake. ahhhh~
the placee was bit small, but cosy and ambience was great with much Japanese 'feel'. Japanese people dining in, and people are all happy.

finished~ yummy~ went to shop around and got a pair of boxing glove keychain. so cute~ then we quickly hopped onto a cab b4 the surcharge pricing starts. off to the 2nd part of my makan celebration at causeway.

it's a special dinner cuz we got 2 special guests~ da sao and ah ma~ and this is the first time my ah ma sees my bro's gf. hehehe the dinner was very fulfilling... though the ordering was bit messy.

this is my mango birthday cake. [so paiseh that it's from my boi yet he hasn't got the chance to eat it...]

so that's bout all for my birthday celebration. all with my closest and loving ones. very happy and contented with the happenings. thanks to my boi, mama, papa, kor kor, da sao and ah ma. for being there and also the presents. kamsahamnida~!!!

Birthday Boxing Day

A gathering at Sky's place. with friends and wishes and warmth all around. my lovely One Fifth and High 5 gangs are there for me. plus some really rare and special guests: Alan, Zalikha, Jerm, Jien and Daw Rui.

with 10+ peepz sitting together at a big round table eating from the same steamboat and teppanyaki pan, sharing each other's jokes, situations and gossips. it's difficult to keep such a big group each person's effort maintain this bond up till today. and here to celebrate my birthday that's heartwarming. :)

played till late and we were all reluctant to leave. the last train/bus waiting for us...
this year's birthday, i feel exceptionally happy. thanks God for everything. i'll cherish'em all.

was going to meet up with my boi to visit my mama at work at IMM, then things went on too went and i'm going to IMM with my papa~. mama was busy with the chinese herbs... she was once a pei yao shi in a famous chinese medical clinic in eunos. then stopped working and now she's on a 1 week chinese herbs promotion part timing job at imm... me and papa went to eat and stay around in mama's radius. papa went home first and i waited on.
then E2 called my mama and asked her or me to help out in stock taking. and of course she can't do it with her current part time in hand. hehe then i called back and i'm going tml~! well, actualli i'm going to be busy during the weekends, but things and schedules change and i'm goin to do my lobang~!

SATURDAY 15/07/2006
working as a stock taker for E2. the office and warehouse is at kallang. took a long ride there... luckily my boi is bringing me to work for the first day... initially i thought that the place is going to be big, hot and stuffy with tons and tons of cardboard boxes, fork lifter, workers working oon long tables and stuff. luckily it was totalli not the case that i thought. the place where they put their stock is just beside their office which iss nicely renovated.
the entire place (office and stock) is connected and airconditioned. the stocke are orderly packed in boxes and placed on the shelves. all we have to do is to count the number of lingerie for each specific type of design. everything is automatic-ated. we got a scanner at hand and we will use that to scan in the barcode found on the lingerie.
the onli bitter song here is that it's pretty tiring to be at that position. either sitting on the floor, squatting, sitting on the small stools, kneeling, japanese style sitting, they're all very tiring. and of course i got all the backaches and leg pains.

ok, here comes the interesting part. lunchtime. so me and my colleague went over to the coffeeshop and had our lunch. btw the location of the factory is on sims ave and opposite it is the geylang lorong X.well, true enuff that geylang lives up to its name, they're realli pros prowling for customers. they're searching and luring their potential clients a.ka. di ko bei by wearing skimpy and walking about in the coffeeshop. gosh~ i saw everything at work. if a man seems to respond to her seduction, she will sit down beisde him and he will buy her food or drink. sometimes, i even see the man slapping her bum. yeeeek~

last day of my mama working at IMM. also my rest day. played with my hammies most of the time. at night, i couln't get to sleep, and in the end, i didn't sleep at all and it's time for work the next day.

work was pretty okay today. some newcomers and the progress was quite fast... boi came and brought me to get my spec and dinner.
saw evelyn (my sec sch classmate) on the train while getting home. hahahah such a coincidence cuz i will not see her after today in s'pore ~! talked bout lotsa stuff, from daily life to her new upcoming life, ,studies and past good times. wish her all well~ felt bad in letting her see me in such a wrecked state - sucky face (with lotsa salt and pepper, oily and fatigue) wasn't in totally cool clothe style and i'm too tired to stand or to compose myself real properly after a hard day work....
@IMM: collected my spec. nice, but i just hate mirrors. esp the clear and speckless ones in spectacle shops. dinner was at hoshi. i find that dinner with my boi is also torturing and takes a long time in decidin the venue for the meal.
aniway, katsu curry rice was definitely wonderful, felt so lucky and fortunate having that~

hai~ the data that i did yesterday was all erronous~ shit~ it's really all, ALL! the very first bag till the very last box. hai~ i dun believe this nehz~.... maybe it's realli my fault... but i dun believe others dun hav errors too...

btw, i'm wakling to my workplace since yesterday. and i think i'm the oli one doing so. it's 2 bus stop distance but i find it realli short... and i enjoy the sunshine in the 9am morning... though i sweat a bit, i tell myself gained that i'm exchanging it for some realli juicy vitamin D. i luv walking! :)
boi came to pick me up after work and we went to clementi for dinner. wanted to have the yummi western food and sugarcane drink at the bustling hawker. ended up elsewhere (sumo house) cuz the western food store wasn't opened. hai~ wat a waste and spoiler. ate the same old katsu curry rice at the new japanese eatery. price was very affordable and the curry wasn't too bad either~ rich and thick~ peepz, can try, can try. it's inside the cheapo store Shop-in, beside KFC.

these few days, i've been seeing the little (while, in fact, she's quite a muscular and large kitty) white cat near my house.
she's very cute, friendly, warm and welcoming. . she'll jump towards me joyously when she spotted me saying hi to her. and when she arrives at my foot, she'll not sniff at my bags hoping for food, but will either look at me, meowing, rolling on the floor beside my foot or rubing against my leg~ she's sooooo cute~ and polite too~ not dao at all~ never hiu me b4!

my father did something constructive today. despite his past salt-rubbing comments about my face, he bought me a pimple cream today.
i was back from work and it's on my table. it's not a simple pimple cream. i'd tried many pimple cream/gel but this one is realli kong qian yue hou. the cream is in skin colour and it's quite thick. when u apply it, it's like u're putting on concealer~ amazing~ i noe the witch brand got one of this type but that focus is still on concealer. this one is totalli on trreatment, only that the colour is skin colour~ luv it~ it's realli nice of my papa~ with this, i can go confidently while feeling that my pimples are being treated along the way ;)

this is my Korean name wahahah!!! yesterday night, i was revising and learning my self-compiled 韩语大全, "Introduction to Korean", arranged by Eileen Zhang. and finally, wahaha i'd learnt all the basic alphabets of the Korean Language and i can read Korean now~!!!! wahahaha~ well, i'm going to close my Korean language case now since i'd mastered the basic. By doing so, i'm ready to start my revision for the Japanese Language wor~...

was also busy uploading my videos onto youtube. i'm doing a clearance of my videos... some are realli nice and i don't bear to delete them without sharing... but youtube is not cooperating well with me lor~ everything is so slow...

well, i give because i take from the site. ve been watching Silence 深情密碼 and Prince of Tennis... Silence is playing oli up to epi 8. cuz Taiwan is playing an episode once per week. omg... this is so torturing~
